What future should we give to the night train (new facilities, new services, new offers)?
Steps
Quartier Libre organized an immersive and experiential creativity event for the SNCF group, aiming to reinvent the night train offer.
The operation was held on board a specially chartered night train, traveling between Paris and Biarritz. “Dream of a Night on a Train” is a unique event that brought together over 36 hours, 80 personalities from very varied backgrounds (creators, start-ups, designers, influencers, entrepreneurs, travelers and SNCF representatives) to imagine, together, the future of the night train.
This creative work aimed to produce innovative solutions (interior design and architecture, physical and digital services, marketing offers) on 4 themes: privacy, conviviality, services and offer/marketing.
The trip allowed us to experience in live the devices/services for this train of the future: catering, library, film club, games room, comfort kit, bar, etc.
Result
12 proposals for interior designs and architectures, new services (following the customer journey) and offers were produced and presented to the SNCF management committee.
A first step which made it possible to reactivate the night train offer in France.
