Question

How can we help develop a strategic and forward-looking perspective for a population of talents, potential executives?

 

Steps

Quartier Libre organized a study trip to Europe for the managerial performance and leadership department of a mobility group to help the group’s talents/high potentials develop their role as future leaders – social and environmental dimensions – in a world in full recomposition (new ways of living, working and consuming)

A 4-day traveling exploration (London, Brussels, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Zurich)

An intense collective experience, multiplying immersion in different cultural and socio-economic contexts, seeking a great diversity of points of view and perspectives

A program on 7 thematic sections:

  • mobility component: visit to emblematic stations to understand their adaptation to new inter-modal uses, increased traffic and demographic pressure, climate issues, social and societal issues
  • territorial transformation component: visit to the Battersea Power Station in London, a new mixed urban mega-project
  • political perspective on the commitment of governments and citizens to the energy transition: meeting with the Deputy Permanent Representative of France to the European Commission
  • cultural and managerial revolution section: meeting with the world leader in corporate real estate consulting, and with the HR director of the Adecco group on the theme of the new labor relationship
  • corporate engagement component: meeting with the Givaudan group innovation team
  • management component to understand the specific issues linked to their role within their organization to engage their employees in the CSR transformation: CEO of Adecco, CEO of Eurostar
  • offbeat explorations component allowing participants to step aside and to arouse their curiosity and their understanding of changes in society: meetings with artists, residents of a self-managed building, ecological activists, visits to unusual places embodying new ways of living, producing or working

 

Result

A united collective of Talents (internal networking) and a presentation to the ComEx of the lessons learned from the study trips.
